Personally, I’m of the opinion that Gearball is an important record, and like many important things, e.g., the velvet’s first record, renoir’s le regle du jeu, the work of fredrich nietzsche, it hasnt made the immediate impact it deserved to, but the music u + prince paddy make means a lot to quite a few of us — and we’re grateful for it. And yeah, stevo’s a dodgy geezer, one of a long line.

and it’s thanks to dedicated fans like you that makes it all worth it. Trent Renzor had his bumps with his first label, and yes Prince did too as did many others. Our biggest challenge is to get the word out WE EVEN EXIST to the RIGHT people. We have an audience. Just look at the world today – everything is going to shit and people are pissed off about it. Who can they turn to to get a clear answer on what’s to come? The corporations? LOL – not. Corporate Religion? Noway.
No it’s going to be the GRASS ROOTS seers and shamans that will point the way to clarity in the chaos. When BIG BROTHER starts handing out ATARAXIA pills (or something like it) to shut up every body, numb them and addict them, when some new WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION is unleashed upon our own people to consolidate the powers that be even more, when the CONSTITUTION of this country goes up in smoke … AEP will be the anthem we will sing to when we carve out a bit of land to grow our own NON GENETICALLY ENGINEERED food, that doesn’t pay royalties to MONSANTO and pay homage to FEMA and NAFTA2.0
Gearball is a wake up cry to snap people out of their TV brain and SEE whats going on. LISTEN to it again. LISTEN to the MESSAGES we are trying to teach. It’s all there. You have to work for it … we’re not going to make it easy for you …but that is the price of enlightenment. We just need to get more people to wake up.
